To install and replace the ship’s AHU as the old unit is malfunctioning due to wear and tear.
The scenario..
We conducted operations on the ship’s AHU Unit.
As per our 5 steps flow set up, we first identified the problem; the old unit reached an advanced stage of corrosion, especially the coils and the blower. Contaminants were also found in the system.
As such, we offered the ship managing team our AHU installation services. We first had to safely dismantle and remove the old AHU.
Afterwards, we provided the solution which was the positioning and installation of a brand new AHU with new piping and brazing works included.
Our technicians conducted air balancing operations to test and adjust the blower. They also accomplished programming works on the PLC.
Thanks to our engineers’ expertise, all programming and commissioning works were done without any instructions or manuals. The commissioning finally deemed the system functional.
